Congress Committees

The Congress Organising Committee (COC) chaired by Dr Gary Bacon, a local forester, is primarily comprised of representatives drawn from State and Federal Agencies in Australia and New Zealand. The COC meets every two months to address major planning issues. The COC is assisted by an Advisory Network with wide representation from stakeholder groups.

The Congress Scientific Committee (CSC) is chaired by Dr John Innes, Forest Sciences Centre, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. The CSC is responsible for the development of a high quality scientific program and is working with the COC to ensure delegates enjoy an exciting mix of technical and social events.
