Epidemiological Methods and Clinical Trials for Preventative Health

The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to epidemiological methods and move quickly to a range of more specialised topics such as observational clinical trials, meta-analysis, spatial epidemiology, disease surveillance, environmental epidemiology and advanced general methods. Speakers include Professors Norman Breslow (University of Washington, Seattle), Peter Diggle (Lancaster University), Christl Donnelly (Imperial College London), Bhaswati Ganguli (Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta), Malcolm Hudson (Macquarie University, Sydney), Louise Ryan (Harvard University, Boston), John Simes (Sydney University) and Linda Young (University of Florida, Gainesville).
