Conference registration includes session entry, coffee breaks, lunches, Welcome Reception and conference backpack.

* Student is defined is a fulltime student at a recognised institution. A letter from your Head of Department/School will be required as proof of your student status.
** You must be from a Country defined as Special Circumstance by IBS to be eligible for this reduced fee. Please find the list of eligible countries here.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations for registration and accommodation will only be accepted in writing. Cancellations made prior to Monday 17 May 2004 will be refunded less 30% to cover administration costs. No registration refunds will be made after this date. Alternatively, your registration may be transferred to another person without penalty. This transfer must be made to the Conference Secretariat in writing. Flight cancellations will be subject to the conditions specified on your ticket. Please enquire with Ozwings or your Travel Agent when purchasing your ticket regarding cancellation conditions. Cancellation of additional tickets for social functions will be available if participation is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the function.

The Biometrics department of Roche Products is part of Drug Development in the Medical Department. Drug Development uses Biometric’s Data Management and Biostatistical Services to support the clinical trial programs to prove that drugs provide an acceptable benefit risk ratio in humans.

Biostastistics staff apply statistical techniques to the analysis of clinical trial programs in areas such as: AIDs, hepatitis, cancer and obesity. These trials must be rigorous from a statistical point of view. All conclusions must be unbiased, objective and scientifically valid. The Biometrics department is based in Sydney and employs 35 people.
