Joint Invitation
We are pleased to invite you to the XXIInd International Biometric Conference (IBC 2004) in parallel with the Australian Statistical Conference (ASC 2004).
This event is being held jointly by the International Biometric Society and the Statistical Society of Australia on 11 - 16 July 2004 at the Cairns Convention Centre, Queensland, Australia.
It is expected that the joint conference will attract over 700 delegates and include eminent international speakers, leading researchers and participants from both Australia and overseas. Delegates will be able to attend sessions of either conference, ensuring a rich and varied scientific program.
Cairns has been chosen as the venue as it is the central hub of beautiful North Queensland and an array of social events and tours will be arranged to take advantage of this.
We look forward to seeing you in July 2004!

IBC 2004 & ASC 2004 are being held jointly by the International Biometric
Society and the Statistical Society of Australia. Members of either of
these societies will be eligible for a reduced registration fee for the
conference.
The International Biometric
Society is an international society devoted to the mathematical and
statistical aspects of biology. Biologists, mathematicians, statisticians,
and others interested in its objectives are invited to become members.
Through its National Groups and Regions the Society sponsors regional
and local meetings. National Secretaries and Regional Officers serve the
interests of members in many regions throughout the world.
The Statistical Society
of Australia Inc. represents Australian and overseas statisticians,
providing an umbrella organisation for Branches in six States and Territories.
The objective of the Society is to further the study, application and
good practice of statistical theory and methods in all branches of learning
and enterprise.
